Stardew Valley is a breeding simulation developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone and originally published by Chucklefish. The game was initially released for Microsoft Windows in February 2016 and later ports were released for macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, iOS and Android.
In the Stardew Valley, the player takes on the role of a character who, in order to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, takes over the ravaged farm of his deceased grandfather at a place known as the Stardew Valley. The player manages the time and energy level of his character as they clear the land, planting and growing crops, raising livestock, handicrafts, ore and engaging in social activities, including romances leading to marriage, with various small town residents, all while making money in the game for expanding their farm. The game is open-ended, allowing the player to take action as needed. The game also features a collaborative multiplayer mode for four players.
